SOTG 881 – Bloody Labor Day in Chicago

We saw another bloody Labor Day weekend in the wonderland that is Chicago. At least 7 people were murdered with 35 casualties today. Where are the Democrat Presidential hopeful to express outrage and demand action? Maybe some lives are worth more than others? 

During our Brownells Bullet Points segment, Professor Paul will take a close look at using red dot sights in fighting pistols. Do you need to have tall, co-witnessed iron sights to go along with your red dot? 

For this week’s SOTG Homeroom from Crossbreed Holsters, we consider the “Permitless Carry” bill that allows Florida residents to carry sans permit during a declared state of emergency. It the people can be trusted during an emergency, how come they cannot be trusted the rest of the time?

Chicago is experiencing a violent Labor Day weekend with at least 35 people shot and seven of them killed, the Chicago Sun-Times reported Monday.

Two deadly shootings unfolded Sunday within just over 20 minutes. A 15-year-old boy named Dovantae Jackson was shot on the same block where he lived and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Soon afterward, an unidentified man and woman were shot at a South Side party; the man later died at the University of Chicago Medical Center.
