Alabama is another state that is leaning toward adopting Constitutional Carry as the law of the land regarding the toting of firearms for personal defense. And, as per usual, we have a parade of employees of the state who do not seem to understand the meaning of the 2nd Amendment to the United States Constitution.
We have a Religion of Peace update for you. You won’t believe which country has become “Islamophobic” now.
Also, during our Quiet Time Moment from SilencerShop.com, Paul will consider the difference between how Hollywood portrays men and how a real man truly behaves. Listen louder.

With a bill to bring permitless concealed carry to Alabama tracking in the state senate, at least one local sheriff is against the proposal on grounds that include his department losing out on cash from permits.
“In effect what this bill does is take a tool away from law enforcement to disarm violent criminals,” Pickens County Sheriff David Abston told WCBI in the above video, starting at about the 1:00 mark.
The cowboy-hatted, 1911-carrying Southern lawman says he is all about the right to keep and bear arms.
“As a Sheriff, I firmly back the Second Amendment,” says Abston. “I want all of our citizens to be armed to protect themselves. At the same time, law enforcement has to be able to go in and disarm bad actors, criminals, mentally ill, terrorists and I don’t think this bill was well thought out.”
Issued by county sheriffs, pistol permit fees vary throughout the Yellowhammer State, depending on the county and the length of time the permit is valid. For instance, a five-year permit issued in Jefferson County costs $37.50, while the same permit in Coosa County, just an hour away, costs $125 even though both are recognized throughout the state and in 25 others via reciprocity agreements.
“This money generated from the pistol permit goes to buy our uniforms, equipment, our firearms, our training, our ammunition to train and send people to the police academy. Once you take away that funding where’s the money going to come from?” says Abston.
The powerful Alabama Sheriffs Association has frequently opposed gun reform measures, including one to allow guns in cars without a permit and some have even bemoaned the loss of restrictive may-issue practices allowed in the past.
The permitless carry legislation is currently assigned to the Senate Judiciary committee.

Saudi Arabia has deported a staggering 40,000 Pakistani migrant workers in the span of just four months, citing terrorism concerns.
The Saudi Gazette reported last week that “a number of Pakistanis were held in the crimes of drug trafficking, thefts, forgery and physical assault.” Authorities feared that some of the migrant workers were linked with ISIS, or as the Saudis call the terror group, Daesh. Other migrants were deported due to expired residency and work permits.
“Against this backdrop, Abdullah Al-Sadoun, chairman of the security committee of the Shoura Council, called for thoroughly scrutinizing the Pakistanis before they are recruited for work in the Kingdom,” added the Gazette. “He asked for more closer coordination with the concerned authorities in Pakistan to thoroughly check those coming to work in the Kingdom due to the involvement of a number of Pakistanis in security issues.”
While the Kingdom has long exported the jihadist ideological cancer of Wahhabism to mosques and Islamic centers across the West, it has prided itself in its effort to rid the homeland of terrorists threatening to undermine the stability and sovereignty of the monarchy.
Counter-terrorism raids are not uncommon in Saudi Arabia. In fact, counter-terrorism agents recently arrested 15 Pakistanis in the Al-Harazat and Al-Naseem districts of Jeddah on terrorism-related charges.
Pakistanis have mostly traveled to Saudi Arabia looking for work. Many of them take low-paying and dangerous jobs in the construction industry.
But leave it to Saudi Arabia to treat its migrant labor force with appalling apathy.
“Official Saudi statistics say that 243,000 Pakistanis were deported between 2012 – 2015,” reports The Independent. “Mass deportations of migrant workers – which Human Rights Watch and other rights organisations say often involve illegal beatings and detainment in poor conditions – are fairly common.”
This all begs the question: Is Saudi Arabia Islamophobic? Well, if you’re claiming that President Trump’s falsely identified “Muslim ban” (recently rendered unconstitutional by a federal appellate court) is Islamphobic because of the fact that it places a temporary freeze on the acceptance of incoming refugees from just seven (out of dozens) of the high-risk Muslim-majority countries in the world, then surely Saudi Arabia’s mass deportation of tens of thousands of Muslims due to terrorism concerns should ring some alarm bells.
Is Saudi Arabia immune from the charge of Islamophobia because its leaders are Muslim? Or, better yet, is the Left’s entire hysterical crusade against Trump’s “Islamophobia” a red herring meant to delegitimize the political opposition?
The bottom line is every sovereign state, whether it be Saudi Arabia, Israel, or the United States, has a right to defend its borders and regulate who comes into the country. Every sovereign state has a right, perhaps even a duty, to protect its citizens against foreign threats, particularly terrorist threats.

I watch a lot of Westerns now, nothing good on current TV, and it seems to me everyone wears a gun or two. I even have seen Ronald Reagan a time or two. So at one time Hollywood did have Men walking around with sacks full of nuts. And Women with a true sense of what it is to be a Lady. The question now becomes how to get shows and movies back with strong healthy male and female characters to strengthen healthy role models in society.
Reality shows are drama queen bitchy trash displaying weak minded and subverted characters of male and female roles in fake societies as true role models for today’s youths and adults.
Yet I know what Hollywood has become. All I got is my dollar and in this case it identifies and supports what I see as good. Not sure if it makes any impression in Hollywood. Say Hollywood how goes the war on your end?
