Paul G. Markel will be our guide through this journey.  Mr. Markel has earned many titles throughout his life; United States Marine, Police Officer, Executive Protection Agent, Gun Writer and Professional Firearms Instructor.

During the current Global War on Terror, Paul has provided instruction in Small Arms and Tactics to U.S. Military personnel, having trained literally thousands of troops during the last several years.  Not just a military trainer, Mr. Markel has provided instruction to law enforcement officers, private citizens and youth nationwide.  Since the year 2000, Paul has been a 4H Shooting Sports Instructor and provided instruction and education to hundreds of young people at local and state levels.

Working as a lawman as well as a professional bodyguard, both in the U.S. and overseas, Mr. Markel has an intimate knowledge of firearms and their personal defense as well as sporting and recreation.  His written work has been published for two decades with hundreds of articles in print.
